I loved this study! I thought the amount of history and background was perfect, since it's a Bible study -- it's still very Bible focused and devotional rather than a history lesson and I loved it.

I love the concept of this Bible study and the content is a good start. There is some editing that is needed, questions and statements that are not a complete thought. I do wish there was just more information, more history about the author or how the lyrics have been used in church history. Most of the current information doesn’t feel new to me.

I like how the readings are organized each day. I appreciate also the scripture to read every day. I wish there was more to the history behind the hymns - I was looking forward to understanding more how the hymn came about and the composer behind them - but not a lot of time is spent on that. I also haven’t learned as much new information as I was hoping. All the meditations are good reminders of solids truths, but there isn’t much that I didn’t already know.

I loved it. It’s rich in biblical theology and so practical.
